Anyone know anything about this park?

Vorhees State Park

Open year-round. We drove by it and the locale looked good.

No info, Bruce. Due to NJ's no pets rule, I've never camped in any of their state parks. Yrs ago, Chris' aunt often camped yr round @ Bass River State Park. Personally, I've always wanted to try to do some camping & canoeing through the Pine Barrens, since we travel that way to the shore every yr.

A bit further north from the barrens, I have recently found a county park, Turkey Swamp, that looks promising. (W/E & pet friendly) I've read nothing but good reviews about it on various boards. It was on my list to try this yr, but the wknds just filled up too fast.

Don't know anything about that one. We tent camped at Swartswood State Park once. It was a very nice park...except for the monster raccoons. They were as big as the black bears in Maryland.
